Veniamin Smekhov is a Russian documentary film, theatre and film actor and director.

Vladimir Mayakovsky (1893 – 1930), a key exponent of the Russian Futurist movement, was one of the signatories of the Futurist Manifesto. Mayakovsky produced a substantial and varied corpus of works in the course of his career, writing poetry, writing and directing plays and appearing in films, as well as editing the art magazine LEF.
