Peregrin and the Giant Fish – The Making of

This multi-voice documentary traces the conception of a film that is both an opera and a fairy tale for adults and children. The Making of Peregrin and the Giant Fish reveals the challenges of its realisation, from the creation of the libretto, inspired by one of the stories written by Freud’s niece, to the relationship with the music, the creation of the puppets and, finally, the adaptation of the stage space. A story that emphasises the experimental sides of the project, the difficulties encountered and the discoveries made by all those involved.
