Franz Schubert Winterreise
Schubert’s Winterreise is a cycle of songs, an introspective journey that unfolds through the various stages of intensity and emotion triggered by unrequited love: despair and agitation, doubt and searching (often for oneself), and finally hope. Written for voice and piano, it is unexpectedly performed for the first time in concert, the vocal part being played here by the cello. Franz Schubert Winterreise.
