Michele Placido is an Italian actor, director and screenwriter.

Edgar Lee Masters (1868 – 1950), author of one of the greatest masterpieces of American literature, initially rose to fame in 1915. in a small town in Illinois, with the population of Petersburg who were livid at seeing the closely guarded secrets of their private lives engraved on tombstones in Spoon River Anthology.
