Thomas and Bijan are two boys confined to their homes during the pandemic. A call on Skype kicks off a conversation full of virtual secrets as they share their anger and incomprehension, revealing increasingly intense parallels between their two lives and the private lives of two giants of history: Napoleon Bonaparte and Dante Alighieri. Broken family ties fill the bitter plot. Thomas’s father, a renowned professor, has abandoned his son to devote his time and energy to studying Napoleon. Bijan’s father, a famous Syrian poet, is exiled from his country forever.
An interactive film with two beginnings and a surprise ending that brings Dante and Napoleon right up to date. Great men of yesterday and today.
